Transportation scheduling hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:45 am-4:45 pm. The office closes at 5:00 pm.

Transportation requests will be in Oregon only; We can transport out of Klamath County to a specialty provider, however, if you live outside of the service area, we will not be able to provide transport services.

If you have a service animal, contact Translink at 888-518-8160.

Transportation requests will be prioritized by first come, first serve. We will put you on a waiting list if we have any cancellations, we will give you a call to check if the ride is still needed.

If we are unable to provide the ride and you are Translink eligible you will be referred to call them for the ride.

When calling to schedule a ride please have the following information ready; The name of your referring provider, the name of the provider or facility you are going to, the address and phone number of the facility you are going to, the appointment date, and check-in time.

KTHFS occasionally has operation closures due to inclement weather, facility issues or emergency safety concerns, please have a backup transportation plan in place.

All clients requesting transportation must comply with the KTHFS Patient Registration eligibility requirements for services (Klamath Tribal Members, Descendants, and other enrolled members of federally recognized AI/AN Tribes).

Priority groups include Elders, dialysis and cancer treatment patients, disabled individuals, and children.

We are happy to transport children; however, they must remain accompanied by an adult during the entire duration of the appointment. Car seats are required per Oregon State law (we do not supply them).

No food, beverages, or alcohol are permitted in KTHFS/GSA vehicles. Anyone under the influence of illegal substances will not be transported.

Smoking, vaping, or alcohol products will not be allowed in the GSA vehicle.
