Mission of The Klamath Tribes

The Mission of the Klamath Tribes is to protect, preserve, and enhance the spiritual, cultural, and physical values and resources of the Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin Peoples, by maintaining the customs and heritage of our ancestors. To establish a comprehensive unity by fostering the enhancement of spiritual and cultural values through a government whose function is to protect the human and cultural resources, treaty rights, and to provide for the development and delivery of social and economic opportunities for our People through effective leadership. Health Advisory Committee

The KTHFS Health Advisory Committee is a five-member committee appointed by the Klamath Tribal Council to advise and make recommendations to the Klamath Tribal Council regarding aspects of health programs and health-related matters affecting the services provided by Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services.

Interested in serving on the Health Advisory Committee?

The Health Advisory Committee meets in the evening on the second Tuesday of each month.  Membership is limited to Klamath tribal members.  Health Advisory Committee applications are available at the Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services Administration building in Klamath Falls or at the Klamath Tribal Administration building in Chiloquin.  As you consider this important role, we highly encourage you to join us for a meeting as a guest.  Please submit your complete application to the Klamath Tribal Council Secretary.
